Malawi

Malawi is affectionately known as the warm heart of Africa. Whilst very small, it punches well above its weight in terms of what it can offer. Lake Malawi is the third largest in Africa, there are the big Five parks where there are nowhere near the number of visitors to other more famous wildlife parks and that’s before we speak of stunning sunsets.

It is the second highest producer of tea in Africa It’s also an incredibly safe country, rating, with the same Global Peace Index score as France and is the third safest country in Africa.

But what’s the  best thing about Malawi? The people. Super friendly, they always have time for a chat and it is this in combination with the above that makes a visit to this country an absolute must.

On your Diamond Skies trip, you will have have the opportunity to see the ‘Big Five’ as well as a plethora of other animals and wildlife. You will experience stunning sunsets, swims and kayaking on Lake Malawi. And you will stay in luxury accommodation, in family run places, meaning you are not only getting to know the locals, but ensuring that it is the locals who will benefit from your stay as much as you benefit from your visit.

So if you fancy a safari trip that is relatively new on the scene, with far fewer people there as a consequence, contact us so we can introduce you to this to this lovely and relatively unknown part of Africa.
