Small Group Tours Worldwide
Whilst the heart of our business is personalised travel, we do offer a few options for those interested in very small (under 10) group trips.
Please see above for details of the tours running in 2024.
A small group allows for intimacy, but also the camaraderie that comes with a group. Our average group size is under 10 as this allows us to maintain the integrity of the trip. We believe that above a certain number, that simply isn’t possible.
All tours are created to allow for those who prefer more active trips and those who like to take things a little more slowly, thereby ensuring personalised travel happening even on a group itinerary.
At the heart of each tour is the notion of moments as well as monuments. We believe that whilst you may get on the plane to 'see ‘The David’, it will be Davide, the random waiter with whom you have an entertaining exchange for a couple of hours, who will be the greater memory.
On our tours we offer immersive activities from cooking pasta and pizza in Italy to decorating tiles in Seville. From cooking using the famous peppercorns in Cambodia to learning how to prepare egg coffee in Hanoi, Vietnam, its birthplace. Or perhaps dancing tango in Argentina, or a hot air balloon ride in Mexico or Morocco. Or how about spending a day with the locals, visiting the little villages and getting to see a whole other side to the country you are visiting.
We want you to feel, taste, smell, see and hear the country you are in.
We look forward to welcoming you into our world.
The Diamond Skies Team
a few words from some of our clients
My group and I just returned from a 10 day tour of Northern Italy with Diamond Skies Travel. With Thomas as our tour guide and Diamond Skies as our tour planner, our trip couldn’t have been more perfect.
Our “foodie” experiences included a wine tasting and leisurely afternoon lunch prepared by a sweet Italian grandmother at a gorgeous Tuscan vineyard, a balsamic vinegar tasting at a family-owned, 100 year-old vineyard, and a tasty visit to a small Parmesan Reggiano cheese factory where we got to thump the huge rounds of cheese for ripeness.
Our included meals were scrumptious breakfasts and either a delicious Italian lunch or dinner, often served in an idyllic outdoor setting or centuries-old church or restaurant.
Our hotels were always centrally located, spotlessly clean and air conditioned. They ran the gamut from a former ducal palace with views of St Mark’s Square in Venice, to a lakeside grand resort on the banks of Lake Garda where we were treated to sumptuous massages at the hotel spa. There was also a quaint old hotel with amazing views of the Tuscan valley below and sunsets one can only dream of. And that’s to say nothing of our Florentine hotel complete with private patios overlooking the gardens.
While on tour I celebrated my birthday, spending the morning with a Florentine chef, shopping for fresh ingredients at an authentic Tuscan market and making lunch at his cooking school in his private home. Surely the best way to spend a birthday!
The experiences we shared and the memories we made together will last a lifetime. Thank you Diamond Skies Travel. Simply put, you are the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and after thinking about it I am unable to suggest any changes to the itinerary, hotels, restaurants, etc. I think the trip was perfect in every way. Thomas was amazing as well as every person involved with each tour along the way. I have had several people ask what my favorite thing was about the trip. Everything was so unique and interesting that it is impossible to narrow it down to one single moment or activity,

The trip was absolutely amazing. Just truly wonderful. I can't thank you enough. It's been difficult to adjust back to the every day. No amazing scenery, food, or weather to be had around here, unfortunately.
I could probably write a small book about everything I enjoyed. So many times, I just looked around and thought "life is amazing". The gondola ride through some of the quieter canals, the private boat ride on Lake Garda, being surrounded by giant wheels of real parmigiano reggiano, tasting 100 year old balsamic vinegar. Two experiences that were especially meaningful to me were the Sunday lunch we had at Santa Giulia and the cooking class in Florence. It felt as if we were taken into their home and made part of their family. And some of the food/wine we were given/made were almost religious experiences. At the table at Santa Giulia I had to tell everyone that if I started crying, they were happy tears

Our tour guide was amazing and one of a kind. The hotels selected were very nice and had amazing views. Views that were simply breathtaking. The dinner and lunch venues gave a genuine Italian experience and they will be fondly remembered for many years to come. This was an amazing trip and I’m looking forward to my next trip with Diamond Skies Travel in October.
