Why Diamond Skies Travel?

The Diamond Skies Team is comprised of both those who have lived in Africa and those who have visited for work and/or pleasure. We have three Moroccan experts and we have extensive knowledge of the below countries: Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe thanks to our time spent living, working and travelling in them.

We also work closely with our partners on the ground, to ensure that you receive the very best care and that from the moment you land, until the moment you leave, you feel safe in the knowledge that you will be taken care of, every step of the way.

Why Africa?

54 countries, home to a plethora of animals and wild species, a continent of extremes, it’s hard to sum up Africa in words as it’s a place to be experienced rather than described, although we will give it a go. A magical place where everything seems exaggerated. And the friendliness of the people, keen to welcome you to their home is as warm as the climate. A continent of white sanded beaches, spectacular mountains veering off into the mist, sand dunes traipsed by camels and water falls crashing down in a thunderous roar. Countries as varied as the landscapes, meaning a different experience in each.

In Northern Africa, in Morocco, you can experience beautiful Riads (former palaces), visits to the desert with stays in luxurious tents under impossibly sparkling skies. Or perhaps you would prefer a ride through Marrakech in a side car followed by lunch with a view. Or a cookery lesson learning how to make that most Moroccan of dishes: tagine. And to top it off, a hot air balloon ride to capture the beauty of it all from a different perspective. Our trips to Morocco offer sumptuous stays, indulgent cuisine and immersive activities alongside plenty of time for relaxation in the hammanm.

For those interested in more wildlife/safari based experiences, we offer personalised, curated trips to Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia (with forays into Zimbabwe too). We set up which include both Safari and cultural experiences, such as wine tasting, lake trips, beach visits, excursions to Victoria Falls, visiting local villages, learning local dances, cultural immersion etc etc. The trips are full board and include stays in upmarket lodges and boutique to luxury guest houses/hotels, budget dependent.

On a Diamond Skies trip you can expect to encounter animals you have only ever seen in documentaries, to enjoy relaxing moments under the stars, to kayak around lakes and to enjoy surfing and relaxing on amazing beaches.
